The lightning multiplier mechanic adds significant variance to standard roulette. While outside bets maintain normal probabilities, straight-up bets have a 1/37 chance of hitting, with a further ~8% chance of that number being a lightning number. The reduced 29:1 base payout funds the multiplier pool.
Engine Mechanics: Engine uses standard 37-number roulette with 1-5 random lightning multipliers (50x-500x) per spin. Straight-up bet payouts reduced from 35:1 to 29:1 to fund multipliers.
